oh look it's this guy again whatzitface and whatzthatthing.

Originally, Marine was gonna have a pet turtle (and if you read his profile, you'll see I did write that in.) I changed it to an alligator because 1.) A short French animated film titled "In Between" about a woman overcoming shyness represented by a blue alligator inspired me to give the animal a try 2.) Because Owl City songs are the major musical influences in this story and one of the song title is "Alligator Sky" (even though it's not about the animal) and 3.) Alligators are fuck awesome.

The alligator is adorable, but the over all picture is faaaaaabulous! The shading is magnificient and though the background is simple does a great job of showing these two. Awesome, awesome, awesome!

As much as I like Discovery, I'm more eager for you to start a comic with Marine and his quest!

BTW Is the universe with Marine fantasy, sci-fi, or both?

More Fantasy/Urban Fantasy. With certain exception, I'm actually not a big fan of the sci-fi genre.
