Short Version: Why, he lived happily ever after.

Loooooong Version: When Skywarp accidentally got blasted off ~~again~~ back in Discovery #5, he ended up on Equastria's moon. Princess Luna just happened to be there at the time and the two bonded. Mostly on their insecurities and personal demons - I never elaborated further on why (yet) because I'm waiting for Luna's appearance in Season 2 to hopefully shed some light on her personality.

The two eventually fell in love. When they announced this, the other ponies...well, disturbed doesn't even begin to describe how they felt. They eventually got over it when they realize they have a giant fucking robot on their side. Then they remembered he's a giant pansy. But that's okay, they all started to warm up to him because he's so nice.

Skywarp eventually marries Luna and becomes Prince Skywarp. Is why he has that crown/cape in the artwork. Eventually, they have a kid: they took a piece of Skywarp's wings, have the metalsmith ponies mold it into a unicorn, and Luna uses her magic to bring their daughter to life. Her name is Star Runner (name credit to

). She's a robot unicorn. She starred in some Adult Swim game. XD

I actually totally buy and love your explanation.

Seriously, people, it's possibly for people to be in a romantic and emotional relationship without having sex.

Two characters in the first Hellboy movie had exactly that kind of relationship, and they were evil crazies would wanted to open a portal/lock and unleash eldritch horrors upon the world!

I find it hideously ironic that Starscream's lamest clone managed to become a prince and leader-figure without being beaten/killed in the process. I can only imagine how jealous Starscream would be at Skywarp's coronation, especially since his ended in explosions, executions, and crushed dreams.

Yep! That was the idea.

Actually in original drafts, I would have put both Skywarp and Sunstorm together as a duo who would pop in at various points in the series. No ponies were involved (at the time (and #5 was suppose to be the only time the ponies would arrive), but the two seekers were connected to Perceptor. Originally Percy joined Crescendoll to catch both Skywarp and Sunstorm because he needed to renew Starscream's data that he accidentally lost (these data being what made the Jettwins). The humor between the two would have had Crescendoll tiredly dealing with a huge scaredy cat and a major suck up.

This actually makes sense, although with Starscream rather than Skywarp.
See, in Transformers Armada, Princess Luna's voice actress Tabitha St. Germain played the part of a human girl named Alexis. During the final season, Alexis developed a rather obvious fondness for the Decepticon-turned-hero Starscream.
Also, that crown is a carbon copy of the one worn by Starscream in Transformers Cybertron.

Cute. And the background looks lovely, especially the full moon behind the two. ^_^
Is the crown a reference to the one used in Starscream's coronation? Any chance of you drawing what Star Runner looks like in the future? I'm curious. And Star Runner's origin story sounds like Diana/Wonder Woman's.
