Prowl's punk past is canon, but I think it was around #2 or even the beginning of #3 when I decided to take advantage of that and make him the elusive "Black Bomber". During his heydays, he was quite infamous for blowing shit up and always slipping away from trouble, even if he was captured. It's this kind of sneakiness that enticed Yoketron to employ him in the Cyber-Ninja dojo and use it for a better purpose.

Getting too deeply into the past of Crescendolls in Discovery is not that big an issue for me. Some of the events fuel who they are and how they will develop, but otherwise, I won't be digging too deep. That said, I had in my head that Prowl is a well-calculated nutcase who only blows up empty buildings (likely famous ones) and with the least few Cybertronians around, so miraculously, no one got killed during his tenure as the "Black Bomber". Why does he do it? To rebel against the Cybertronian government? The reason is something that isn't going to be too important, if at all, in Discovery.

All Prowl knows is that it's something he's deeply ashamed and regretful now. That doesn't stop Lockdown from (un)intentionally bringing the "Black Bomber" out of him, especially when you live a neutral, free life. So if you see him put up that slasher smile, RUN THE FUCK AWAY. _{Prowl also will not admit that blowing shit up sometimes gives him a sexual thrill.}
