I love how that one female Autobot next to Prowl's threesome looks stoned. Yep, Prowl used to be a giant slut.

You probably can't see, but that's Flareup at the lower left corner commanding the Autotroopers. Seeing as I no longer used her as Perceptor's love interest, I still wanted to give her a role because I find her intriguing (or at least the personality I gave her). So she's a head commander of the Autotroopers.

The Autotroopers are more or less the police force of Cybertron (the Elite Guards obviously a separate entity: the armed force, so to speak). My story goes is that Flareup once did train to be an Elite Guard member, but her penchant for explosions and her fiery temper caused Ultra Magnus (or whoever she was tasked under) to kick her out. She did a lot of mulling and a lot of maturing before she was eventually accepted into the Autotrooper force. She's still angry and easy to stress, but a lot more mature.

She was created because I wanted a Zenigata-like cop: the one constantly chasing after Prowl and crew for their crimes, neutral faction or not. She was also built as kind of a robot counterpart to Captain Fanzone (at one point, I hope I can make her say, "This is why I hate Organics!"). I also chose her because I wanted a female cop, much like Barbara Gordon in Batman Beyond.
